About VCTC

The Village Crosstown Trolley Coalition (VCTC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1994 by a group of neighborhood residents to develop plans and community support for a river-to-river light rail transit (LRT) line linking the East Village, West Village and Greenwich Village.

Our advocacy efforts include a newsletter, sponsoring the Astor Place Festival and a light-rail transit (LRT) slide show that illustrates how LRT can benefit communities and the people who live in, work in or visit them.
